Organic Corn Salad: Grote Noordhollandse. A vigerous autumn/winter variety that can be grown all year round – just be mindful over Winter, you’ll have to wait a little longer and it would work better in a Polytunnel over Winter also. Delicious leaves with a mild fresh flavour. Fairly long leaf type and can br grown as baby leaves.

How to grow:
Sow outside from April onwards successionally. Keep them well watered. For winter sowing, sow inside from September on. Bad weather and frost hardy.

Problem solving:
Keep slugs off babies and watch for botrytis. Water well.

Favourite ways to eat them:
A mild addition to salads all year round.

Native to the Europe, north Africa and western Asia.
