Description
Organic Nasturtium. Tropaeolum majus.
A non-native to Ireland annual flower, this is great because it won’t cross breed with our native species. It is easy to grow and low maintenance and a great flower for beginners to grow! This is the trailing variety. It is attractive to bees with it’s open flower and beautiful variable coloured flowers. It has deep green large leaves. It’s edible. Either it flows over walls, or the sides of planters or runs across the ground giving good cover. Said to help deter some pests.
