Description
Organic Watercress. Nasturtium officinale.
Similar in taste to Wintercress and is frost hardy. Good throughout the winter months with continuous cropping possible.
How to grow:
Sow seeds evenly into a very moist seed bed May, June and July for harvest from September through to May.
Problem solving:
Easy to grow. Needs to be kept moist.
Favourite ways to eat them:
Sprinkle sprouts on salads or adult leaves in salads. Really great in a sandwich too.
Cultural history:
An aquatic flowering herb from the Brassica family.
Avg contents: 0.3g (~1000 seeds).
